Additionally, this position will focus on specific line coverage in assigned area(s) utilizing production and maintenance playbook processes/tools in order to proactively adjust and repair during its operation.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities Setup, Start-Up, Adjust and Operation of Equipment; Proper Shutdown and Changeover as required by company standards and to minimize downtime, excluding sterilization, CIP and process start-up.
Support operational needs for mandatory quality and safety documentation and paperwork for department operations.
Troubleshoot equipment performance issues in accordance with maintenance job classification, maintain and improve integrity and performance of all focus line/s equipment, and complete scheduled work orders.
Communicate and coordinate with Maintenance and Production Leadership any maintenance activities required on assigned equipment to ensure optimum line efficiency and product quality.
Utilizing Maintenance Windows/Scheduled downtime; perform preventive maintenance inspections and corrective work orders on all focus line equipment as assigned by the Maintenance Department to prevent mechanical and/or electrical breakdowns.
Recommend and implement continuous improvement on equipment and system design through use of the team concept.
Support project planning and execution.
Conform to Kraft Heinz's policy and procedures including, but not limited to:
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Lock Out/Tag Out, HACCP check points, Kraft Heinz Quality Standards, Fall Protection, Hot Work, OSHA Regulations, and all others.
Expected Experience & Required Skills Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Experience with mechanical equipment- components- and parts that includes a background in industrial mechanical machining and/or mechanical aptitude.
Ability to train and develop others with mechanical skills, mechanical repairs and overhauls, maintenance systems, computer skills; new technologies in preventive/predictive maintenance, problem solving/troubleshooting, etc.
Ability to safely and effectively operate power tools, hands tools, and electrical/instrument test equipment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds.
Ability to read and Interpret schematics and equipment/operating manuals Ability to- operate and maintain all equipment in assigned area(s) in a safe and effective way.
Work Environment & Schedule This position is considered a Manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipmentAdditionally, this role requires flexible schedules and/or overtime per the business needs.
Physical Requirements Frequent activity or conditions sustained 1/3 - 2/3 of working hours.
Physical Demands includes but not limited to upright stance, recumbent stance, prostrate stance; traversal of workplace including transporting heavy objects and pushing; scaling heights including accessing high and/or low objects; keyboard/text input Physical Strength includes but not limited to medium force occasionally exerting 20-50 lbs.
